Where can I connect with you on social media?

I struggle greatly with engaging on social media. It is simply not something that comes easy to me. To add insult to injury, at the end of 2022, my Facebook profile was hacked and my business account was taken over (and yes, there was a great deal of money stolen from me before I could close my business account!). Because Facebook owns Instagram, my Instagram account was affected, too. I tried for over a year to get help from Facebook, but I was constantly led in circles without ever getting anything fully resolved. In mid-2024, I finally gave up and shut down all of my social media accounts, losing many connections, both personal and professional, in the process. Very sad.

Anyway, I have opened new accounts, and although they are currently sitting there without any activity, I am working (slowly) on getting my mojo back so that I can start posting again. Please be patient with me. I'm a little gun shy, but ever hopeful. In the meantime, do sign up for my newsletter! I write about 2-3 times a month, sometimes more, sometimes less, but I personally read all my emails and I try to respond within a reasonable amount of time. I don't want to miss hearing from you!

What kinds of books do you write?

I write clean and wholesome contemporary women's fiction. My books are filled with friendship, romance, humor, a touch of mystery, a sprinkling of whimsy, plus a bushel of family drama. And usually a four-legged or winged companion, too. Some of my fiction is categorically Christian fiction, some is not, but all of my books are free of vulgar language and have no on-page sex. However, I do not shy away from difficult themes and subjects, and I've been known to write a pretty good kissing scene or two.

Why should I buy from your store?

Buying directly from me and other authors who sell their products on their own stores cuts out the middle man and allows us to keep more of our profits. When you buy our products from big name retailers, we authors pay a significant percentage of our profits to them. That said, I'm an online shopper who also loves retailers like Amazon, Apple, Barnes and Noble, etc., and if that's where you're most comfortable purchasing your reading and listening material, that's fine!

Do you have large print books?

They're coming in 2025! I'll be tackling that project one series at a time, starting with Elderberry Croft, then the Gustafson Girls, and so on. Check back soon!

You narrate your own audiobooks. Are you a professional narrator?

I am! I have a background in music and recording, so audiobook narration has been a great outlet for me. I have worked with more than 60 authors and have narrated more than 200 audiobooks (and counting!) in the last ten years, and that doesn't include my own! I've been working on creating a clone of my voice so that I can take on more projects, but that's a big undertaking, and I want it to be done right! Hopefully, in 2025, we'll see that come to fruition!
